Today I weighed in at 45 pounds down in 3 months so I thought I would celebrate by sharing this easy/cheap keto meal! I found some stuff in my kitchen that looked like it would go well together, and it totally did! Don’t worry, I thought it through. This is my very easy, thrown together pork chop recipe. I was surprised how well it turned out though. The lemon juice really made it. I couldn’t tell you the exact amount of carbs, but it is definitely keto. Check this out.

Ingredients
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup)
- Hot sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Oregano
- Herb seasoning
- Garlic salt
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Pork chops (1 pound)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)

Directions
coat pork chops in (hot sauce, oregano, herb seasoning, garlic salt, olive oil)
leave in fridge for 30 min.
preheat oven to 450
coat cast iron skillet with cooking spray
sear on skillet medium heat, 3 min each side
Place in oven
bake pork chops in oven for 15 minutes
remove from oven
Flip chops
add lemon and cheese
cook another 10 min, or until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees.
That looks tasty.
It’s funny, once you get the knack of it, keeping keto is simple and delicious.
Thank you, and I agree. It is all about forming habits. I appreciate the feedback. Keep it touch. I’m going to keep sharing anything that I can. Nice to hear from you.
Delicious!
I cooked this tonight. I made a dry rub with my own choice of herbs and spices, and I seared in coconut oil. I added a lovely sprig of sage to the pan just before putting in the oven.
I sliced the pork and served it over spring greens with about a tablespoon of dressing. I crumbled the crisp sage leaves over the salad for a bit of smoky flavor.
Thanks for the inspiration!
